We moved into our house over 4 years ago, and since then we haven’t touched our deck. We’ve been doing a lot of indoor renovations, getting the house ready for a couple kids. Now it is time to show some love to the outside of house!
Over the years, our deck has gotten REALLY dirty, and the stain was wearing off in a lot of places. We need to take care of this before it gets too late. So this year we’re going to restore our deck to its shining glory! Well as much glory as we can get out of it.
Many of the boards are cracked, a little bit of wood rot here and here, but it’s mostly still in good shape. I’ll take you through our restoration project through the steps.
